Two Projects, One Foundation

We are developing Malk and Manor 21 in parallel: two very different adventures that help a small team build the experience needed to turn ambitious ideas into working games.

Evertry Games — The only true failure is not trying.

Two different adventures

Malk is a measured, single-player narrative adventure. It is a third-person RPG built around exploring Andalor at an unhurried pace, engaging in dialogue, making decisions and following the protagonist's gradual rise. Even as the story grows more dangerous, its heart remains Malk's personal journey through a world of magic, steel and hidden agendas.

Manor 21 moves to a different rhythm. It is a dynamic team-based action RPG about expeditions into the Beyond, shaping character builds and defending a refuge. Players must decide together how far they are willing to go for more valuable spoils, when it is time to seek a way home and whether what they recover will be enough to protect the Ghost Tree.

A shared foundation

The games do not share a story or a world, but their development draws upon common technology, tools, elements of code and gameplay systems. Work on combat, characters, enemies or worldbuilding in one project gives the team knowledge and solutions that may strengthen the other.

For us, parallel development is more than maintaining two lists of tasks. Malk teaches us how to shape a sustained single-player journey with care. Manor 21 challenges us to test the pace of team combat, the risks of an expedition and the ways players depend on one another. Together, they broaden the capabilities of the entire studio.

Why Evertry

The Evertry Games name and motto express the principle behind the studio. We do not believe a small independent team should abandon an ambitious idea merely because projects of that scale have long been considered beyond the reach of indie developers. Ambition demands patience, discipline and repeated attempts—but the only true failure is not trying.

Both projects are in development. Manor 21 is currently expected in Q1 2028 and Malk in Q4 2028; these release windows remain estimates.

The only true failure is not trying.
