A team with a history
Co-op progression is separate from a solo playthrough. A party of two to four players begins its own shared campaign and continues with a persistent roster. This is not a random group of strangers, but a company that chooses its heroes, prepares for expeditions and returns to the consequences of earlier decisions together.
The current slice already includes two playable characters. They allow us to test more than the presence of several players in one arena: we can begin judging how different abilities and character builds complement one another.
While someone can fight
A fallen hero does not immediately end the raid. While the others can still fight, they may risk their own lives to reach an ally and bring that hero back into the battle. Rescue takes time, however, and hesitation can leave a wounded character lost for the remainder of the expedition.
Loot remains personal: every player sees their own rewards and decides whether they are worth pursuing. A successful return preserves what was recovered; a full defeat takes away the spoils of the current raid. The risk belongs to the whole party, while each hero's progression retains its own identity.
Already playable together
The current playable build already lets players form a private party, choose their heroes, begin a raid together, survive waves of enemies, rescue an ally, recover personal loot and return to their saved campaign. It is not the whole of Manor 21 co-op, but it is a complete journey from preparing for a raid to beginning the next attempt.
Our current priority is to make that full loop dependable for two players. Tests with parties of three and four will follow. The complete story campaign, base construction, dialogue and secure item trading are not part of this slice yet; each still has its own path to co-op ahead.
